Novice Spaniel Test (Any Variety)

Location Ellingham (near Alnwick), Northumberland.

Information on Test
Various dummies will be used for this test. No cold game for this novice test will be used. Starting pistols and launchers may be used. Please ensure your dog is comfortable with loud bangs before entering your dog. You may enter and request the starting pistol and/or launcher is not used, however, please be aware that those with the same marks and also had the pistol and launcher in their test will receive a higher placing.
There may be a water retrieve. Dogs will be asked to do hunt their ground and do various retrieves and be steady. Basically, what you would expect of them out shooting.
Any variety of Spaniel welcome including Sprokers. Dogs do not need to be Kennel Club registered. NEESC test are open to all Spaniels. NEESC is the only club offering this kind of test for both KC registered and non KC registered Spaniels.
NEESC tests are designed not only to be a stepping stone onto the KC world of tests and trials but it also gives you a chance to see a) how you perform under judging conditions, b) how your dog performs under judging conditions, c) to meet, have a chat and enjoy the company of like-minded people, d) a great day out with your dog and having a chance to go home with either a trophy or other prize and e) to also help teach you where your dogs training may need some work.

If you wish to enter the test, please enter 'Test Entry' in the subject box of your email. Membership is £7.00.
